Brazilian Rosewood: the King of the Tone Woods

In 2004, Brazilian Rosewood logs were discovered in a shipwreck off the coast of Brazil. The ship had capsized in the 1920's on its way to Denmark. 

Now some of it is in our shop. 

All sets are from the same log.

All the same. 

Perfect matches and full of curly figure.

We see a shipwreck series in our near future that will pay homage to this lost journey. 

It is an honour to have the opportunity to work with this rare wood.
