Peonies and Cherry Blossoms

Art is what makes this crazy-creative world go round. Collaborating with others opens my mind as a builder. Two years in the making, this afternoon I finished up another out of the box project with my close friend Tracey Tarling, a Vancouver based painter and sculptor. 

Tracey has turned the guitar into a canvas, using acrylic ink and paint and gold leaf to create a unique work— a bright garden of peonies and cherry blossoms. 

These photos were conveniently taken in the workshop garden, a place where this guitar seems to feel right at home.
