An excerpt from David's interview with Red Robinson from Global News highlights his mission.
... you know who my favourite customers are? The people who hardly have any money and they save their money. And they save it and save it to get that one nice guitar. They are so overwhelmed and so grateful that when they get that guitar they have to phone, they have to email or something and let me know about they're guitar. And, I will get emails fifteen years later, a guy saying, "had to write. Just got to tell you... and they'll write this beautiful little store." Those moments are really motivating.
